When and why did you get into fitness?
I got into fitness at the age of 14 years old. Prior to that I was active in recreational sports but never was truly committed. When I got into high school I felt quite insecure about myself physically and mentally. That’s when I made the switch. I wanted to become the athlete i always dreamed to be and after a short period of time i realized that my dreams could become a reality. What makes me love fitness is the fact you can measure yourself along the way and see yourself improve both physically and mentally!
What kind of personal training do you do with your clients?
The approach I take when it comes to training clients is simple and effective. I look at it through a holistic approach and take the clients goals into consideration. I really try to focus on the main movements everyone should master; squat, hinge, push, pull, gait, and rotation. With that being said, I incorporate exercises that involve these movements or even exercises that involve more than one of these movements. I believe the body should move freely, and with that we will utilize a lot of bodyweight and free weights!
What is your favorite exercise?
My favorite exercise is the lunge! Great exercise for leg strength and power development and you can challenge yourself with numerous variations that can challenge the whole body in different ways.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
I am a passionate soccer player! Been playing for a couple of years at a high level. Beyond just that, I love traveling and meeting new people, as well as doing my best to give back to the community!
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years I see myself still playing the sport I love at a very competitive level and balancing that with my career as a personal trainer. I hope to see myself as a well known and respected trainer!Â
How can potential clients keep up with you?
I will be blogging and posting about my life on social media such as Tiktok and instagram! I try to post different things such as tips and exercises that have helped me get the results I want!
